TRAUMA / CRITICAL ILLNESS INSURANCE

The diagnosis of a potentially life-threatening medical condition is an incredibly life-changing moment.

Although you can never predict these things, there are certain precautions you can put in place should the unthinkable happen. At the top of the list is taking out Trauma insurance or Critical Illness insurance as it’s sometimes called.

Trauma Insurance provides a lump sum benefit should you be diagnosed with a specified major illness such as cancer, heart attack and stroke. The benefit eases the financial impact that a major illness can have on you and your family and can be used for:

  • Medical expenses and specialist treatment costs
  • Rehabilitation costs
  • Mobility devices
  • Home modifications
  • Additional care and rehabilitation
  • Repayment of a mortgage and other loan repayments
  • Credit card bills

One in five men and one in seven women between the ages of 30 and 64 will suffer a critical Illness**
